2. Mould Creation: Skilled toolmakers use precision equipment to create the mould according to the design specifications. The mould is typically made of metal, such as steel or aluminum, and it consists of cavities and channels that allow molten plastic to flow and take on the shape of the cap.

3. Injection Molding: The mould is mounted onto an injection molding machine. Plastic resin pellets are heated until molten and then injected into the mould under high pressure. The molten plastic fills the cavities of the mould, taking on the shape of the bottle cap. Once cooled and solidified, the plastic caps are ejected from the mould.
