Design: The design phase begins with conceptualizing the shape, size, and features of the plastic tub. Engineers use computer-aided design (CAD) software to create precise 3D models of the tub, taking into account factors such as functionality, aesthetics, and manufacturability.
Material Selection: The choice of plastic material depends on the intended application of the tub, as well as factors such as durability, flexibility, and cost. Common plastics used for molded tubs include polyethylene (PE), polypropylene (PP), and polystyrene (PS).
